Rotex Helicopters accepts their newest KMax

The Switzerland based company, Rotex Helicopter AG, has once again accepted their newest machine to their fleet. A new KMax helicopter! The KMax Helicopter has a rockey history when the company shut the production line down back in the '00s. In 2013 the company began to reintroduce the factory line as of 2020 there are more then 11 confirmed KMaxes on order. Congrats Rotex for your latest helicopter!

Heavy lifting Sling Operations, they have a lift payload of 6K lbs. The US Marines use to use these in Afghanistan for moving things. They were UAV machines though

Kinda interesting they are the worlds quietest helicopter, I had a chance to watch one take off and they are extremely quiet

They’re actually really large lol while they look skinny you can sit in there very comfortably

While they’re not visually appealing the science behind it is insane but when they fly by you can’t help but fall in love with it
