Rolls-Royce testbed Boeing 747-200, N787RR parked on the cargo ramp at TUS in July 2013 with Trent 1000 - First to power the Boeing 787 Dreamliner titles.
This was used for testimony the engine for the 787 .

I would actually love for IF to add some specialized planes such as this with the 787 engine, or the A380 testing the A350 engine. It would definitely add some uniqueness.

People would want the 787 engine as well, which would lead to problems with N1 readings.

Only one issue with this: the Rolls-Royce 742 has (wow) Rolls-Royce engines (RB211s) on it for the unchanged 3 engines, which currently is not supported yet in IF. That aside, if you could find a way to stick 787 engines onto a 742 in IF, I’d be totally fine with it.
