RKSI 34L Runway

Hello! IF Airport Editorial Team

Runway 34L was recently completed at RKSI! Therefore, Incheon International Airport became an airport with runways 33L, R/34L, and R. But the 33L is not in the IF yet. It should also replace the 34 with the 34R! Can anyone edit RKSI? Thanks!

Hello!

I’ve sent this over to the team, and either myself or another editor will reply to this topic, letting you know what the next step will be.

That being said, it is unlikely that the new runway will be added soon, as imagery is not fully available.

Furthermore, adding the new runway will interfere with the 3D buildings currently at RKSI. Not to mention, IFAET has a “rule” in place preventing editors from working on previously edited airports until the remaining Class Bravo airports are completed. A manager or supervisor, however, may be able to work around the aforementioned items.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. 😁

@BAK_UOV,

My sincere apologies for the lack of communication, which I promised.

@brunocr98, one of the IFAET Managers, suggested that we hold off adding the new runway until A) imagery is completed and B) we can add the new runway without interfering with the current 3D structures at the airport.

When new, updated imagery becomes available, and an editor receives the go-ahead from a higher-up to make the necessary changes, I am sure the changes will be performed ASAP and reflected in Infinite Flight in a subsequent update.

Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to deliver an enhanced RKSI to you soon! ✈️
