Out of 4888 folks that voted the 757 came in 6th with only 10% of the votes. Meaning it only got about 490 votes. Lost to the 777, ATR, A220, A330, A380 in that order.
Thats why I’m saying, it’s not likely you’ll see it reworked anytime soon. There’s more aircraft that the community would like to see over the 75.
Thinking that bringing awareness for the reworking 757 will not result in a soft makeover like what happened with the A330.

I’m thinking the 490 is inaccurate, as people may have had the 757 as their secondary choice. If we conducted a new poll after the A350 and 777 are done, I’m sure the 757 would score higher.

I think I’d agree with @Bray here. I voted for the a220 originally, and hope that in the future that the A220 would be an aircraft to come to IF soon. But of all the aircraft within IF currently, its the 757 that needs the most help - not the 777.
Unfortunately at the time of the vote, people just voted for their favorite. Does that mean that the 757 needs attention? Maybe not. But it is the aircraft that is the most “broken”.
