Reverse thrust problem

The reverse thrust on the a380 does not get deployed on engines 1 and 4image

They a380 in real life doesn’t. It can stop just by brakes. Go on YouTube and search for a380 landings.

In real life, that’s how the reverse thrusters are.

A number of reasons behind this.

Firstly, it has enough power with the inboard engines/brakes for decelerating, so additional engines aren’t needed.

Also, the A380 is massive - outboard engines are likely to be close to the runway edge, where it’s more likely to pick up debris than on the runway surface.
