I didn’t know these ops were so rare! I always land from Miami beach direction…

They’re rare because the ocean blows wind into the city and planes land into headwinds, not tailwinds, hence why they usually land to the west at MIA, and east at LAX most of the time.

Reverse ops at MIA aren’t as LAX rare but also usually happen a like maybe 3 times per month or something idk
