Hi. My son has been flying IF on my Ipad under my apple ID, he has purchased loads of aircraft. He now has a new iPhone. He has a fresh new apple ID which is a family ID under the control of mine.
He has installed IF onto his iPhone and has restored the simulator purchase because of the family umbrella, but none of his aircraft purchases have been transferred.
How can we get the aircraft purchases onto his phone without paying again? Thanks.

Good question. Have you talked to anyone from Apple or gone to your local Apple store? They might be able to help, since it is a Apple ID issue. Also, if it isn’t the same Apple ID, I don’t think it will transfer, but I could be wrong…

Unfortunately, In-app purchases does not fall within the Family Sharing policy Apple have.

It should be fine if you sign in with yours and get the aircraft then sign back out again. I use my mothers to get all my IF IAP’s then sign back out but the family sharing may mess it up, haven’t used it before as it seems pretty useless.
