Republic Airways Embraer 175 Nashville to Philadelphia

Quick break from the widebody flying here with this trip to Philadelphia from my hometown. Republic Airways (no relation to the Republic Airlines formed by the merger of North Central Airlines and Southern Airways, which was purchased by Northwest, which was purchased by Delta) operates a fleet of 176 76-seat Embraer 175 regional jets, 173 of them between Delta Connection, American Eagle, and United Express, and the remaining 3 between all partners as required. This is one of those Republic-branded E175s, operating for American Eagle.

Edit: Apparently, Delta did not inherit the ex-Republic 757s. These were powered by Rolls-Royce RB.211s, making them orphans in the PW2000-powered Northwest fleet. In fact, these relatively-new jets left the fleet before the positively ancient Convair 580s.
The Republic Pencils were sold in short order to America West and went on to serve faithfully with them, U.S. Airways, and American Airlines. Also fixed “Airlimes” to “Airlines”. Airlimes would make a good name for a budget carrier in a citrus-producing state, wouldn’t it?
