Hey guys. Is it possible to report ATC because I was getting very frustrated with ATC Member @3Ssomy167 for taking 45 minutes to give me pushback clearance after asking every 10 minutes and during taxi I had to hold and wait for 20 minutes. It’s extremely annoying.
I’m guessing this is at JFK right now?

This is the situation at JFK right now. The controller is likely letting the takeoff queue dwindle down before allowing more aircraft to taxi. Otherwise it starts blocking the apron taxiways.

It is possible to complain to IFATC, but it is not possible for this reason. Since the airport you are in is crowded, they may not be able to respond to your messages. If you are waiting for a long time, you can ask for permission again, but only if you are waiting for a long time.
I was waiting for 45 minutes for pushback clearance and asked 5 times. Later I was told to wait on the taxiway for 20 minutes. But now insm finally allowed to continue taxi to the runway

Its unfortunately often the case when its this busy - particularly at peak activity times at an airport like JFK.
I can understand you, the IFATC you mentioned is very experienced. But such situations can happen in crowded airports. If you want to give feedback, you can contact the IFATC you mentioned. But complaining will not do any good.

But why is this ATC controller using only 1 runway for takeoff if it is so busy? Bro got 4 runways. He could use 2 runways for takeoff and 1 for landing?
4L is being used for departures - 4R, 31L and 31R for arrivals.
I see, im not experienced with ATC so just curious.
This completely depends on the wishes of the Approach and the Tower. However, taking off from XX Runway and landing from XX Runway is a good idea to ensure that takeoffs are not disrupted and that the planes that will land do go around.
You can gain a lot of experience thanks to your curiosity. You don’t have to worry about it. :)

I completely understand. It’s just having to wait 45 to get pushback clearance is annoying. And the controller kept on tell me to hold position even though there were no aircraft near me. 2 aircraft near my gate got to pushback 20 minutes before me. It makes no sense. But I understand that it is very hard to do this and I respect and thank them for their hard work.
