For some context:
I wanted to try the new AP+, started a 1hr short hop in an A319, got to cruise, AP+'ed out of there and got in an F18 to “intercept” myself, to see how it would all work with AP+.
Went on to land, opened the replay, all cameras are broken. For all except HUD, the viewing point around which the camera is centered has been moved a few meters/feet backwards.
So for example, in the F18, cockpit would show the view point from near the tail, normal would show the camera rotating around a point which was behind the aircraft, tail would show a perspective also from some distance behind the engines etc…
Secondly, i thought, why not try and improvise a screenshot of me in formation with my AP+ flight (the A319) - unable. I quickly realised that i wasnt able to “get closer” to the A319 in the replay, since in the same way that the camera positions were offset, so were the entire planes.
To clarify, i flew very very close, and i know that when i did a certain movement, or turned away to land, i was near the A319. In the replay, in those exact points, my F18 was id say at least about 0.5-1.5nm behind the A319 at all times, even when it should be right next to it. I say this because even the little info card on top of the plane, the one with distance, username etc.., consistently showed me being 1nm from the A319, even when i was literally right behind it (one plane length max) in the F18 (live, as i was flying)
My A319 flight should land in about 40mins, at which point ill try the replay on the A319s end, and report back what i see!
