Replay files keep loading

Im unable to open the replay file, it just stays on the loading screen for a long time. This problem just happened today, yesterday even though normally I could open the replay file. My internet network is also fine, will if it is bad affect it?

Devices

  • iPad gen 9
  • iPhone SE 3 (2022)

Notes:
Both of these devices had enough storage left and i’ve reinstalled the Infinite Flight, too.

In your logbook, are you sure you’re looking at the actual replays and not just the entries?

Yes. Btw, the replay file from another device that I mean. Tried on both devices too

This sounds like an internet connection problem. The only time it should stay on the loading screen is if it’s not able to download the information in the replay.

It’s a bit impossible, because my connection is normal. Have you experienced this yourself?

Yes, but only when I don’t have an internet connection. What you’re describing is quite weird. I would give it a day or two and see if it resolves itself and if not reach out to [email protected], which will get you in contact with @schyllberg

Is it just one specific replay file or is it all of them all of a sudden?

All. I’ve tried more than one replay file. Long haul and medium haul replay flights.

Hi, is there any updates or solution for this issue?

Can you share any of the replays?

Ok, here are the actual files that I want to open on the two devices I mentioned above. There are medium haul flights, and 14 hours long haul WSSS to KSFO flight.

These three files, including several other replay files that I didn’t export, I can’t open (they just keep loading).

These files don’t look to be from 24.4? Except for the last one. That one works to load perfectly fine for me in the app.

Oh yeah, most files are versions before 24.4.

Since I don’t remember and the file name is still default, can you tell me, which route did you open and succeed in the application?

The file name contains the date, so it’s easy to see that way :)
But it’s OMDB → FSIA. That works.

The others don’t since they’re not on 24.4

Wait, what? Looks like this one didn’t work either, yesterday? Hold a minute, I’ll try again.

Update:
I have tried with the following date, the OMDB-FSIA flight. HECA-VHHH which is 2 days after OMDB-FSIA flight,
but it still doesn’t work on my side.

None of them work? Am I understanding you correctly there?
The replays doesn’t seem to be broken at least. Since I could open one of them.

Do you have the aircraft in question downloaded?
One thing to try is to spawn in on Solo, with the same aircraft and livery… and once you’ve done that, try the replay again.

It seems like my mistake. I just tried with a previously downloaded aircraft (Boeing 777-200ER) and it worked. I thought the replay file would work with an undownloaded aircraft, but it doesn’t.

And few days ago, the Boeing 737-700 must have been downloaded first, then it worked. Well, you may close this thread 😄

It does work.
But… it’s a bit sensitive & random at times. I’ve had this issue myself and we haven’t been able to reproduce it properly to get it fixed. So any time I have issues with a replay loading, I do just that - spawn in with that aircraft on Solo and then open the replay.

It makes sense, I will do that. And hopefully this issue can be resolved in the next version.
