Renting a Nikon Z6 II

Hey everyone

I want to rent a Nikon Z6 II for an airshow with a Nikon Z 180–600mm 5.6–6.3 VR lens. Good choice or should I choose an other camera? I want to do ground shots as well as ground-to-air photos. Let me know what recommendations etc.

Thanks!

Should be fine. Might want more MP of a z7ii or something but with 600mm it should be alright.

What if I choose a Canon EOS R with a Canon EF 70-200mm F4.0L IS USM lens? Is cheaper ( note I want the photos to be on JP)

That’s not enough reach or burst rate for an airshow. Also you’d need an adaptor.

If you want to airshow on Canon rent an R5 or R7 and get the 100-500L

Honestly, you can get photos accepted on JP even with a bad quality camera, as long as it’s edited as they want. JP is max 1280p on the long side of the pic anyway so I don’t think the camera will change anything about getting accepted by JP. Well, for an airshow, don’t go to the side where the plane is backlit and that’s it.

That’s too expensive sorry
