The XCub is a slightly older model, introduced before the cockpit registration corresponded to the registration displayed outside. It’s not in any way a priority, so don’t expect it to be fixed anytime soon.
As said above, changing call signs inside the cockpit really only came fairly recently, the x cub is a few years old.

Apologizes, I’ll clarify. The x-cub was just an example. Any older aircraft doesn’t have the changing registration inside of the cockpit.
Another good example would be the TBM-930 in which the registration does not correspond to the cockpit registration.
If I recall correctly, the first aircraft to feature custom registrations in the cockpit was the A330-300, therefore anything older than it won’t have them simply because the devs hadn’t figured it out properly.
