Flying from YSSY-EGLL and ran out of fuel.. go figure lol. But I landed, refueled, took back off and resumed flight. I checked about an hour later and saw that I was out of fuel on autoppilot+ I checked and it reflected that I was out of fuel. I glided into land and I have a violation. I don’t know why, I don’t know why it reflected that I was out of fuel when I landed, refueled, and returned to cruise afterwards for it to mark me as no fuel again.
I tried flying that Sydney-to-London Heathrow route twice, and I never managed to make it because the exact same thing happened to me. With only about 1–2 hours left before reaching my destination, I got an “Out of Fuel” message while using AP+.
I didn’t know it was possible to receive a violation while AP+ was active. Hopefully, a member of the staff team will be able to help you out.
I got into the same situation with the same route but funnily after coming back a few hours later, it was still trying to reach the destination with the out of fuel notification.
I’m not sure if you specifically want to fly over the United States, but you’re taking the long way to Heathrow. In real life, Qantas is planning to fly directly north from Sydney and over the North Pole to get to London.
I was still thinking about this problem. It is not about the route but how AP+ works, it just still says that I run out of fuel after making a technical stop for a refuel in any flight. Just wonder if the developers notice this bug.
