Red Moon?

I’m not sure what category to put this in but on departure from EGLL the moon was starting to rise and it was red. Is this rare or something I’ve never seen it.

Here is the picture.

The air molecules from Earth’s atmosphere scatter out most of the blue light. The remaining light reflects onto the Moon’s surface with a red glow, making the Moon appear red in the night sky. The name "blood moon " is also sometimes used for a Moon that appears reddish because of dust, smoke or haze in the sky.

A quick google search told me this…

Also sometimes it has to do with the moon rising and having a reflection.

No problem!

It can be rare, as the moon in IF is generated of RW data

Happens during moon rise at times in IF, if it’s already dark and it isn’t a full moon in my experience. Not super rare but very beautiful and not happening too often!

Aw man I wanted to see this but I took off from EGLL but there was no moon

IF also show Eclipse ?

Could that be a lunar eclipse

It could be, but most of the time it is just how to moon is when it rises when it is really dark out
