Record/Time-Lapse Galaxy S5

Does the Recording and Time-lapse feature only work for Apple Products, because for some reason I have never been able to use it. I don’t think this topic is a repeat, but if it is, my apologies. Just want to clear this up.

No, it’s only for Android.

You must have Version 5.0 or up to record.

Recording is only available on Android devices, due to Apple believing that screen recorders may secretly record your screen on important website or passwords. Android does not have this, therefore Android devices are the only devices that allow you to record your screen. And as @Godzilla_Gamer said, you must have at least Android Version 5.0.

Hope this helped!

Thats why the actual Shou screen recorder part is not on the Apple Store

Wait so do you have to download something in order for the recording to work on S5?

As I said, this restriction doesnt apply to Android devices. To record on Android, start up the sim and press the “Pause” icon. There should be a “Start Record” button, but I’m not sure

And I believe the “Time-Lapse” option is only for developers.

Yea nvm. It keeps saying my device isn’t supported :/

You can always try and go to the Android store and find a screen recorder. Also, if any of my other posts helped, be sure to make them “Solved”, so others know that this post has been already answered. Thanks for flying Infinite Flight!

And glad I could help :D

Yep, thx again :)

thanks for that

If you go to settings, there should be a box called Time Lapse Mode, you click it to enable time Lapse recording. Only in Android
