It seems the Boeing 737 MAX is capable of flying significantly higher than thought. With some “slight adjustments,” you can reach beyond the service ceiling of the fastest commercial jet in aviation history. For the utmost high, this plane should be able to reach 65,000 feet, but for today’s flight, we’re taking it a little bit easier.

True, but have they come back down and landed it? I’m actually kinda curious how high you can get while keeping it similar to a normal commercial flight, as in, not nosediving and glitching a supersonic launch into oblivion!
Meanwhile there’s me trying to have a normal transpacific crossing when the first thing I see when I wake up for my descent was one of Laura’s B777s flying at about 70,000,000ft over the Pacific.
I will say that @PhorzaSky out of anyone should know the true potential of the MAX down to every last detail or “feature” (I won’t elaborate more than that). I will say that 15-hour flight is practical for “normal” operations, but for “abnormal” operations, those 15 hours are “pebble” numbers. Might as well fly from KJFK-WSSS or do an all-around-the world flight. Don’t know if he will do it, but he did say he likes not having to refuel the MAX. Maybe a clue?
