The -300 was retired in 13/14, but I think the -200 was a while before that.
Yea, but the liveries changed, so I mean you could call them retired but also, you couldnāt
I donāt think weāll count that one anymore because the airline merged rather than the airline retiring that specific aircraft type as such.

P.S. I love your profile picture.
If youāre counting āin progressā retirements then you should add United and Delta 747-400s to that list, as they will be gone from their fleets within two years.
Southwest just retired their 737-500s I think last month?
When did British Airways retire their 757-200s? Was it before 2011? I remember it being pretty recent.
Have any of the aircraft with Delta/United actually been retired yet? If not Iāll add a date to it.
Yep, that will go on the list.
BA retired their 757-200s in 2010 and handed them over to their partner OpenSkies I think.
Theres around 60 left. I think like 57. I honestly donāt think Iāll get to fly one again. Iām going to have to go DL to fly an MD. And honestly Iāve heard they wonāt be gone till the beginning of 2018. Donāt quote on that though.
Looking on the Wikipedia pages for the two airlines, in the āfleetā sections, both say āto be phased out byā¦ā (2017 for Delta, and 2018 for United). I know they have been steadily retiring them for a little while now, I just donāt have any exact numbers.
What about the Delta 747-400?
According to Wikipedia: Korean Air, Air China, El Al, and Eva Air are all also in the process of retiring thier 747s.
So sad to see them go :(
Cathay hasnāt even started retiring their 772s yet, itās planned for 2018.
Virgin Australia Regional is decommissioning and disposing of itās Fokker 50 fleet
Has it fully completed the retirement or just started it?

Ok, Iāll put it in now.
Philippine Airlines retired their 747s 2 years ago :(
You forgot the Aer Lingus Airbus A319
