Really strange game crash

Hey there ! I was flying from London to Beijing during the night. When I woke up, I saw a fedex 777 flying (i was flying with it just before this flight) and then the game crashed.
My device is a 12.9 IPad Pro 128GB running on IOS 10.3.3

Was there anything specific you did? Such as touch the screen, adjust altitude, change the speed, heading, lights, etc.? Need a bit more information. 😊


I woke up, touched my screen, nothing happened, I went quickly out of the app to see if the bug has stopped. It showed me in a Fedex 777 when I was a BA 787 and the game crashed

Any other apps running in the background? Whether you were using them or not?

When I fly on IF I make sure Infinite Flight is the only app running. Occasionally I’ll restart my iPad before a day of flying just to ensure that my cache and any other hiccups in the iPad’s system are cleared out. This ensures that I have a clean slate to start out with. Give it a shot next time you fly, you may find it helps until performance related issues are ironed out and tweaked further.


Below are some basic steps taken that may help resolve the performance issues:

  • Keep as much unused internal device memory (RAM) available. 1GB is the recommended amount
  • Android: Change device display resolution
    • Settings > Display > Display size to Large, Larger or Largest.
      • Some devices will offer to change Display Resolution instead, set that to the smallest possible.
    • Ensure Text to Speech (TTS) is enabled
  • Disable active ad or message blocking apps
  • Don’t modify, “Root”, or “Jailbreak” your device
  • Use a strong WiFi network within a relatively close proximity to your device
  • Lower Infinite Flight graphics and performance settings
    • Set Rendering Resolution to Low
    • Set Rendering Quality to Low
    • Disable Anti Aliasing

If you try everything above and still have trouble, check to make sure you have the latest firmware update available for your device installed. Lastly, we recommend you delete the app, restart device power, then sign into the same account used to purchase the app originally to reinstall.
