Okay, so does any one had fly a flight with all real word procedure? I mean all real word procedure all followed on that particular flight, I think some has only done because it is hard to follow every thing related to real word! It take me 7 months to perform a real word flight with all procedures done perfectly. How much time did you take??
Personally, I donāt tend to fly with real world procedures. I just do things my own way.
Okay, thatās cool āyour own rulesā
If i understand correctly you mean all Departure procedures / Arrival procedures, Restricted airspaceās, Correct continental tracks and so on then yes, Almost all of my flights involve these. To be fair i like my flights to be as realistic as physically possible, correct airline, aircraft, procedures, routing (polar / atlantic) depending on FPL at hand. Nothing beats a flight after some planning!
Hmm bro š your are like me!
I try to do every flight as realistic as possible. I only fly real life time flights. Sometimes i go a little crazy when i setup my own business class furniture chair at home when i do long haul and trying to cook as luxurious as possibleš
With the SimBrief Update you can fly now with real world routes. You can use the charts from Navigraph. With SimBrief you have very realistic weights and fuel figures.
Infinite flight = me trying to be as realistic as possible
My process:
Find a flight, Simbrief Airframe making, Simbrief FPL making, choose collect procedures, check for NOTAMS, Check departure and arrival gate, input FPL, and fly following all procedures, stepclimbs, and speeds I filed.
Just making the airframes and FPLs take around 10-20 minutes of my time, so itās not bad!
yes. i print my OFP, and wayponts, checklists, and charts
-printing out 287 pages of paper for SFO-HND and waiting 1 hour for it to finish-
To complete a realistic flight? Less than a day.
To learn what realistic procedures are well now that I have been learning since 2019. I still have alot to learn but some would say I know to much already lol.
I am the exact same way. If i even forget the strobe lights, landing lights or anything is off I will redo an entire flight.
Absolutely. I first find a flight, copy the flight plan off of flight aware then take off at the same time the IRL flight does. I try to be as realistic as possible.
Unpopular take here Iām sure but no I donāt. If Iām flying a real world route sometimes Iāll make aircraft substitutions, I never use charts, I donāt really care about IRL flight level, gates it whatever. I try to make the correct runways but I donāt pay too much mind. Itās just for fun and thatās how I have my own fun. As long as Iām flying respectful, I think itās alright to fly unrealistic.
I agree with you on this. Donāt get me wrong- flying realistically is great, and I do it all the time. However, Infinite Flight isnāt a āreality simulatorā- at the end of the day, itās a game. A great game, but a game.
I recently got into PC sims and some study-level stuff and that stuff makes me want to sit down and be realistic. IF has always struck me as the āpick up and goā flight sim thatās got just the right balance of quality and playability to keep you hooked.
Hey there!
When I plan my flights, I like to incorporate real-world routes and reference charts to ensure a realistic experience. I apply the same approach to my ATC control sessions as well. Before opening, I usually do a bit of researchānothing too in-depth, but enough to get a feel for the airspace, flight plans, and procedures. It doesnāt have to be perfect; as long as youāve reviewed the charts and flight plans, you should be well-prepared to manage things smoothly.
you can also get flight plans for the real life flight using RadarBox
Iām the same I try be as realistic as possible to. I use navigraph for all the airport charts. Itās really good only thing is you need a subscription but itās worth it š
