Welcome to Realism at Australia

Summary: Welcome to Australia, a land of sweeping planes… and Rocky Mountain ranges. It holds one of the busiest air routes in the world and some of the best scenery too. This event is a realistic Australia and I am hoping that I can have YBBN, YSSY, YMML and maybe even YPPH or YPAD realistic. Focusing on YSSY to YMML both ways (similar to VATSIM’s Milk run Monday) and YSSY or YMML to YBBN, return. This will be a great realistic event for the country, I would also like people to be on the ATC team to add to the realism. As a Brisbane boy I would love to see Brisbane finally get some recognition on the training server.

Server: TRAINING server, but I would love some realistic atc.

Airport: YBBN, YMML, YSSY. Possible depending how busy, YPAD, YPPH

Announcement: starting may this event will be held on the EXPERT SERVER

Just so you know, IFATC aren’t allowed to control on the Training Server.

I really want to participate in flying, but I just arrived here. I think I need to learn a bit, or rather, are you willing to accept a beginner?

as long as you are in the training server, but maybe if you want watch some tutorials for expert so you know how everything works :slight_smile:

This sounds neat, but you must remember, if you are holding this on training server, not only will trained IFATC users be unable to provide any ATC service (as @AirPain said above), but there will be no way to enforce the realism you desire. It is very likely, depending on how well attended your event is, that trolls will show up, since a crowded area in the training server always attracts them. Just a heads up, because it seems as though realism is a pretty big part of this for you!

Yea, I know. But hopefully… we get some people that want to be realistic. I am getting closer to being on the expert server, I only need 48 landings. After I’m on expert I will probably move this event to the expert server.

Hello @NicPilot! Would love to see if I can get the position on this! Haven’t had the time to fully commit to IFATC, but I have (in my opinion) quite a bit of knowledge.
