Real world flight planners

It’s one of the routes they do. There’s also the southern route over Northern Africa and Spain

Irl they fly over the balkans, or Turkey and Romania and other eastern Central European countries. There is no option for that on Simbrief.

  1. It’s not an option that you turn on or off, it should respect airspace restrictions by default.
  2. It provides multiple routes, you can pick the one you want.
  3. You can, as said, tell it to avoid certain FIRs.

To sum it up I’ll say this. Flight planing for this region of flight can be difficult at times. While you may not find a route exact to the flight that day there is always something similar that has been done before.

“Simbrief” and if you can afford to , combine it with Navigraph.

Am i the only one that makes flight plans manually? I know its not ideal but overall i save time from making it in softwares lol

I like to use Skyvector.com for approach and departure procedures, and Flight Time and Distance Calculator for flight time and nautical conversions
