Readington NJ Hot Air Balloon Festival (NJFOB)

Friday Morning Media - Flight/Tether


This morning at 5:30 AM the fog rolled in so we were grounded. Later on in the morning, the sun came out and some balloons took flight!

At 4:50 PM storms rolled in and it drizled a bit. When the rain stopped… The pilots were told to Get up and hot (Wind Rougher on ground level then 300+ ft above) with that 20 pilots flew and special shapes and Coorporate balloons tethered on field

Saturday Flight -
Saturday AM - CANCELLED (High Winds)

Saturday PM - CANCELLED (High Winds)

Saturday Glow - About 14 Balloons glowed but had a hard time to keep them up (high winds)

Sunday AM - Amazing Flight

I came to this topic thinking, I will just tag @BalloonChaser and be on my way however I didn’t even think that he would be making this thread!
Anyway, cool balloons, nice to see a mix up other than the classic RWA topics and a different form of Aviation that gets overlooked a lot.

Saturday:

AM/PM Flight Operations Were Cancelled Becauase of High Winds. But people did do the glow but had difficulty staying up (winds)

Please still remember that I haven’t edited them yet so they may look “Bad” especially the glow pictures… Today (Sunday) looks beautiful for flying!
