Randomly Appearing FDS A318?!

This is going to sound really weird and no I’m not crazy but recently, when I have been flying in the Caribbean Region, I have suddenly seen an FDS Livery A318 which is not visible on the Map and which then disappears?? The first time was at Saba, there was Me, another 737 and a C208, I was about to taxi onto the runway and suddenly an A318 landed. I imminently swiped my screen to get another look but it was gone and not on the map either. I had just looked at my map for the position of the Cessna 208 doing patterns and there was no A318 at all!! Then today, I was at St Maarten and the A318 was there again! I swiped to get a full view and Gone! And nothing on the map?!! Can someone please tell me wtf is going on because this is really weird! It would be helpful if a member of staff got in touch because they would be knowledgeable on this topic. Thank you

Creepy!

But I’m sure there are no ghosts in IF.
Probably a user popped up and disconnected soon after.

But I had been in the map for like 20 mins with my mate doing a landing comp at Saba and there had been no one else there the whole time?? So how could he have just popped up?

I think I know why. Even if you can’t have two devices flying at the same time, you can still get one of your device’s connection orange, so it doesn’t count as playing. Then you get another device and go to your position but go bit more back since it takes time for the connection to turn back to green. Then end that flight or make the connection orange again. Go to your other device. Complete the thing you were doing on that device. Now it looks like you have landed but somehow took off at another airport in a short matter of seconds.
