Quoting another User Problem

I am not sure if anyone else is having this problem, but when I go and quote another user and then reply, the system automatically deletes the quote and shows a normal reply. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you go about fixing it? Attached is a screenshot of what I am talking about.

Happy Landings,

I think it is due to the fact you are quoting the whole of the previous post. The point of a quote is to highlight the specific part of a previous reply. If you want to reply to the whole post then just press the reply at the bottom of the post and it links the original post at the top.

We have seen this and are looking into it more.

Awesome. Thanks Chris for the quick reply!

Looks like the issue may be because you are posting replies back to back. See if it happens when there is someone elses post in between yours.

post from you
post form your with reply (gets deleted)

post from you
post from someone else
post from you with reply (keeps reply)

From the latest discourse update, I think this is the issue. They have removed the ability to quote direct replies which is what looks like is occurring in the OP.
