So, when an ATC Instructs me to maintain a specific speed until say 6 miles final, how am I supposed to know where the 6 mile final mark Is? Someone please enlighten me, Thank You!
A good way to know how far you are away from the runway is finding the nearest waypoint from the runway. Sometimes there’s a waypoint right on the runway. Activate the waypoint, and “distance to next” on the flight info tab on the bottom of your screen will tell you.

Another good reference if you are following an ILS approach, is 6 miles will be around when you are at 2000ft AGL.
