For those who don’t know I’m a glider pilot. At my Gliding club we have a sheet you sign up on for your tow altitude and glider. When I arrive at the field I will go get on she sheet and find my CFI. I will give him a brief run through of my soaring day then I’ll go preflight my sailplane. After I land I move the glider from the flight line and find my CFI to let him know I’m done for the day and safely on the ground. Then I will go put the glider away and secure it
When I solo’d in gliders my CFI was one of the only tow pilots who was constantly around. Some days it just be me and him and after flying I’d help him with a few chores around the airfield (farm with a hangar).
