I have filed a flight plan in an A321. How do I put autopilot on to make the plane follow my route?

Click the NAV button and make sure the source is set to GPS. Then click the A/P button and activate NAV.

If your source is set to GPS, AP will follow the route normally once NAV is engaged

So first you are going to go to the NAV button. Make sure the source is GPS. Then go to Autopilot and press NAV. It will now lock heading for flight plan.

NAV1 is for ILS approachs. If you’re source is GPS, autopilot will follow your desired flight plan.
