Hello everybady I have a question for you: when I need to land and approach says " mantein (an altitude) until estabish in the loclizer clear approach runwey ( name of the runwey)" and then tower says that I need to turn at an specific heading. So I need to maintein this heading and wait that tower give me an anorher vector abuot heading or I need to turn my heading for establish in the loclizer?
You go the heading that the controller gave you until you’re edtablished on the localizer. Then you can turn final for the runway, which you dont need a vector for.
No, establishing on the localizer means ur autopilot has lined up with the radar whictch tells it the alt and hdg it needs to be at to land. (to deleted post)
I think it’s when you’ve got the ILS punched in on NAV1 or something, and when youve lined up the purple lines in your compass that means that you’re established.
Hello!
Given your questions;
You haven’t thought about heading to our guide? It will most certainly give you the answers to pretty much all the topics you’ve posted so far :)
So I need to maintein the heading that ATC gives me and at this heading I need to active appr? So I don’t set my heading for establish in the loclizer bat maintein this heading??
the atc gives u heading, you turn that heading, you turn on APPR, when it says LOC then u either continue down if u want to us APPR, if not disconnect and hand fly
You dont have to activate approach, you just need to have the runway in one of the NAV’s. You then turn runway heading once the two purple lines in the compass are lined up, and ensure you are at the correct altitude by looking at the dot moving around next to your altitude.
But to repeat what schyllberg said, check the user guide because it has almost all the info you need.
