Can an IPhone 11 handle a long haul flight?

I think so, yes. I did it on my iPhone XS MAX before I got an iPhone 13. If you just follow all the recommended guidelines for not overheating your device (no case, fan etc.), you’ll be fine.
Works perfectly fine on my iphone 11 never had an issue.

Yes, it can handle long hauls. I’ve been flying on an 11 for the past half a year. Restart your iPhone before each long flight and make sure you have low power mode enabled in the IF settings and lower your brightness all the way.
Yes, I do that too. Really helps. I just turn it up for takeoff and landing. Also, point the camera somewhere in the cockpit/cabin that doesn’t move, like the seat or floor. That way, your device doesn’t have to continuously generate scenery.

First impressions with an iPhone 11 and flying in if, takeoff, phone wasn’t heating up at all! So that’s a first good impression especially when running on full graphics, handles it like a charm.
No my old iPhone 11 would overheat on solo.
maby a new one will but not a used in one

yes because your phone needs to be 4 years old to get a upgrade.
