Question about Meme Topics

I was looking through some topics and found out meme topics were not allowed. Why is that? From what I read, it seems like there was a previous “incident”. What happened?

Usually, they didn’t provide constructive content and moderators had to supervise it almost 24/7. Not only that, they wasted quite a lot of space from all the images.

These topics are not allowed as for the most part, they are unproductive and stem into off topic memes that don’t relate to aviation or Infinite Flight.

As a moderation and staff team, we decided to create a monthly “game time” topic, which is similar, which is designed to bring some fun and strive for increased community engagement.
