As you all know, Emirates has launched it’s first A350 flight to Edinburgh on Jan 3. If this was the first flight, why has A6-EXA already flown commercial services to Bahrain and Kuwait City on December 28 and 31 respectively ?

The others were crew familiarisation flights that they kept on the low
Are these flights going to be operated by the A350 in the future as well ?
To be seen, consult the Emirates routes database for rough ideas of routes.
I believe these were all test flights and training flights with the new type.
Although I’m pretty sure they carried passengers. But these passengers most likely didn’t know that the A350 operated the route because the B777 normally operates those routes.
Also Edinburgh was meant to be a re inauguration of the route they axed during COVID. But because of the delay of the A350 delivery the B777 had to operate it.
