The Quest Kodiak

This aircraft is an American built high wing, single-engine turboprop-powered fixed tricycle landing gear STOL which is used as a utility aircraft. The first Kodiak was delivered to launch customer Spirit Air in January 2008.
By September 2013, 100 Kodiaks had been built, with the 100th aircraft being delivered to US operator Sunstate Aviation. The Quest is used by several mission organizations such as Mission Aviation Fellowship and JAARS. The largest single order was announced on 15 November 2016 for 20 aircraft from Skytrek.

My Opinion

As we chase down more General Aviation aircraft, the Quest would be a great fit. This turbo prop would be really great to compete against the TBM930 being a back country operation. It gives people the ability to fly into smaller strips all over the world and be a bush operation!

Another GA, please developers…

@markstursy this plane is similar to the Carvan just a little bit more powerful yeah?

Yup it would be a blessing to have a little more of the prop planes on IF- I’ve always loved taking it slow and low finding my way through terrain, I would love to see the Cessna rework though could you imagine the 172 with the developers capabilities now? 😉

This GA is actually something I could use for my once a week 30 landing touch n goes I do 😍

Love to see this one making it to IF, even if I’m probably one those in the forum who least likes GA, this one I’ll say, I really want :D

I VOTE!!

The Caravan is longer, but the quest is taller. It’s a little more powerful (The 208 uses a 114A turboprop, producing 675)

It needs Tundra tires. Then I’ll vote for it. 🤫

How about with Skis?

Hmmm. That’s something we don’t currently have. There’s a few snow/ice runways that I’m aware of in AK. Possibility!

Talk about a ton of offsite landings lol.
I believe you can get a Quest with skis I know the 206 has an option for skis

I love the Kodiak, but because it is kind of similar to the C208 I don’t see an addition happening anytime soon.

We can still try
