Hello IFC! It’s been a while since I made a livery request. Today, Qingdao Airlines’ A321neo will fall under the spotlight!
Qingdao Airlines is a Chinese regional airline based out of Qingdao Jiaodong Airport, but formerly Qingdao Liuting. The airline operates an Airbus A320 family only fleet, consisting of A320ceos, A320neos and A321neos. They fly to a variety of destinations, including Laos, Thailand, Malaysia and South Korea. Qingdao Airlines was originally owned by Shandong Airlines when it first began operations, but was then fully transferred to Nanshan Group. Today, both airlines are competitors in terms of the regional international market based out of Shandong Province.
In Qingdao Airlines, the A320ceos/neos form the main base of operations of all routes, with the A321neo operating mainly domestic routes, but does operate a singular international route to Kuala Lumpur.
Why should we add this? Though not a huge priority right now, we are always in need of more Chinese airlines getting added to the game. The livery is also simple yet beautiful, mainly because of the flower logo. It also opens up a ton of domestic routes throughout China, and it’d be fun to fly this to Kuala Lumpur. Even though the A320neo is more of a priority, this also deserves some attention.
