Doha Horizons – Wave 1 Departed!
The first wave from Los Angeles (KLAX) to Doha (OTHH) has officially departed some hours ago, and what an amazing turnout it was! The skies were filled with aircraft from multiple virtual airlines, all heading toward Doha
A huge shoutout to our 12+ Qatar Virtual pilots, whose passion and commitment were truly on full display. Many of them took off in the early hours of their local time (2–4 AM), showing their incredible dedication to our VA and to this community.
A massive thank you to the IFATC team for their outstanding service at KLAX. The departure flow was smooth, organized, and handled with complete professionalism. Every pilot got the chance to enjoy a seamless takeoff experience, a testament to the controller team’s skill and coordination. 
We’d also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all the participating VAs and individual pilots who joined us for Wave 1. Your presence and energy brought life to the skies, making this flight more than just a journey; it became a celebration of aviation unity and community spirit.
Now, all eyes turn to Wave 2, as the King of the Skies, the A380, prepares to lift off from Bangkok (VTBS) to Doha (OTHH).
