Qatar Airways logo in 777 engine

Hello, I was flying the Qatar Airways Boeing 777-300ER today and found that the fanblades were red:

Upon closer inspection, it turned out to be the entire QR logo inside the engine: (thanks @AvioesEJogos for the photo, I also had a picture but this one is a better depiction of the issue)

The thing is, this is the first time that I’ve seen red fanblades on a 777, so I can confirm that this issue only appeared after 21.6 since I have flown the QR 777 before the update (and haven’t witnessed anything similar to that.)

Thanks for reading and any solutions/answers will be appreciated. 😊

That’s just called a bird strike.

Moral of the story: Don’t fly the QR 77W until the engines are replaced

I never knew bird strikes were implemented into IF. 🤔

I think it’s a known issue 🤔 pretty sure i saw someone report that before about the 777 engines

Pretty sure it wasn’t specifically about the QR 77W but idk

No, this is actually more of a problem with the logo inside the engine, not the shape of the fanblades specifically.

Yes, you saw it, the entire logo

i mean if a human or something flew into it lol

Sure does look like the engine became a life shredder

This has been a known issue for a long time, the developers hadn’t yet said anything to my knowledge but they are definitely aware of this.

I only made this topic because I couldn’t find any previous reports or solutions regarding this issue.

Thanks for clarifying!
