Please copy my flight plan before push back. I will take off last to ensure everyone has the flight plans. My callsign for the day will be J0RDY to make it easier to find me. Feel free to join us at the start of any or all of the 3 legs. If there are any prospective ATC’s willing to control any of the 6 airports in the event, just hit me up!

Look forward to seeing you in the skies!

I agree with @Rodney_Buckland to the highest degree. This is probably THE best planned flight that I’ve come across on here. Please, keep up the great work.

As this event draws closer, I would like to make a point that the speeds, climb/descent rates and Waypoints to begin your descent have all been calculated and tested to ensure a safe take off and landing. If you go outside the specified instructions, you may have to take corrective measures.

*If ATC approach is present, their instructions override the set rates stated here.

*Damn…I just realised I put the wrong time in the video 😂 It’s still 1200zulu regardless of what my weary mind put in the video

Are you going to hold short until everyone comes?

We lost a lot by the end @LachyRobertson . Don’t think many of them have access to the expert server.

We did turn YSSY into KLAX for a while there though 😂😂😂

Thanks to everybody who joined the event and celebrated not only a historical event in Australian aviation history, but a historical even in aviation history in general! Qantas was the first airline company outside the USA to purchase and fly a jet powered commercial airliner. A big moment in aviation history. It wouldn’t be Qantas’ last “Firsts” either. Their innovation and professionalism is what makes them the worlds leading airline today. And the Qantas Virtual Group will be here to hold the events to commemorate those achievements, so stay tuned for more historical events coming soon!
