Qantas to Assist Passengers Affected by Immigration Ban

Qantas is offering refunds or change of destination to passengers affected by the US ban on immigration. This includes travellers with passports from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen.

Virgin Australia has also stated none of their passengers or crew are affected by the ban.

Air Canada has also put affected passengers up in hotels and is providing food until further notice. It’s a small gesture of goodwill that costs them virtually nothing. It is infinitely important to provide stability for those stranded at this time as they may be feeling unsafe of insecure.
