Qantas' first A220

Qantas A220-300

On saturday I had the honour to be among the first people to spot the Qantas A220.

What was it doing at YVR you may ask? Since the A220 is built in Mirabel, it’s suuuuuuuuuper far from wherever Australia is supposed to be. So to bring the plane all the way across the Pacific, they had to make technical stops, namely Vancouver, Honolulu and Nadi.

Lucky for us spotters, it is painted in an aboriginal art-themed special livery

Thanks for viewing! Unfortunately the spot was backlit and the poor weather didn’t help matters either, so the shots may not be up to quality as my other ones.
