Qantas must also be ordering the 787-8 with the 787-9 as they are selling it as one of their model aircraft!

I haven’t heard these orders from Qantas before, Any news about these orders?
It will be lovely to see Qantas livery (Especially in Silveroo) in a 787 😉

The 787-8 planes went to Jetstar but the 787-9 are coming in a few months.

This should be closed. Qantas no longer or never did have orders for the 787-8

They actually did have options, but converted them all to Jetstar. And sometimes orders for Jetstar are classified under Qantas (as they are part of the QantasGroup). They still sell the model for some odd reason. Guess they are leftovers from Jetstar’s model shop.
