This Boeing 747-238B, serial number 20011, and powered by 4xPratt & Whitney JT9D-7J engines, first flew on October 7 1971.
14 days later after its first flight, it was delivered to Qantas with the registration VH-EBC, which used it for 13 years until it was returned to Boeing on December 3 1984, with the registration N747BM.
One year later, on July 10 1985, it was delivered to People Express with the registration letters N607PE, who operated the aircraft until 1987, when the airline cease operations and was bought by Continental Airlines.
Continental used the aircraft for 5 years, before giving it to Tower Air in 1993.
Six years later, Tower Air changed its registration to N607FF.
The aircraft was scrapped.
