Qantas Behind the Scenes

See behind the scenes of Qantas like you’ve never seen before from taxiing to takeoff and dramas to delays in this Australian TV series ‘Ready for Takeoff’.

“The world’s most trusted airline, Qantas, is about to welcome you aboard like never before. With a workforce of 30,000 people ensuring passengers have a smooth trip, Ready For Take-Off goes behind the restricted lines of the airport terminal and onto the tarmac and into the operations centre to find out what it takes to keep 160,000 passengers a day moving.”

Thanks! Watching it now! :)
Had to use YouTube, since the link seems to have changed.
Not all of the episodes are on YouTube though. :(

Watched all 8 episodes.
They were great! The only thing is that they state that Qantas is the oldest airline in the world.
Fact is that KLM is the oldest airline. Qantas is a close second.

Qantas is the oldest continuously running airline, I think KLM stopped running for a while.

It is on Youtube

It did partly, during WWII, but not everywhere.
KLM kept operating in the Dutch Antilles and in the Caribbean.

I’ve got good news! After almost a year, Ready For Takeoff is back with another all new season! You can also watch all previous episodes from Season 1. I recommend the show for all interested in airplanes, aviation or Qantas, as this provides a great insight into what happens behind the scenes! Unfortunately I cannot provide links to international viewers who are unable to access the streaming website for copyright and restricted televised region policies. The show is also airing on TV3 in Ireland. Stream for free here: https://www.9now.com.au/ready-for-takeoff or try downloading the app ‎9Now on the App Store

The last episode for this season which aired today was very moving and emotional. I encourage you to watch the episodes soon, as they will expire in less than a month! Also, check out all the behind the scenes footage, short clips and quizzes!
