Since 1998, airline has specialized in cargo and charter passenger transportation. In 2021, the airline resumed its operations by leasing two Airbus A320-200. The first passenger flight was performed on October 14, 2021 from Tashkent to Vnukovo Airport in Moscow.
First A332 (reg UK33020, MSN1237) was delivered in January 2024, and only in May 2025 they received the second aircraft (reg UK33021, MSN1260)
Both 15 years old A330-200 in Qanot Sharq Airlines came from Uzbekistan Airways, which had almost identical livery (even visit Uzbekistan sticker under airline name was left untouched).
