Purchasing a live subscription In GBP

Hi I was wondering if there was anyway to purchase my infinite flight monthly subscription as it seems the only way is in USD. I was just wondering as I have bought many planes using GBP.

I am assuming if you pay for the subscription it would automatically convert it and charge our account accordingly.

The way it converts is awful. I bought live+, which is marketed at $50, and when I went to buy it in GBP, it cost me Ā£48, whereas following the correct exchange rate it should have been Ā£39. I donā€™t mind paying that much but I can imagine some people do, so it should be made clear to people who want to purchase things.

I am not sure about that, I live in the US so I do not encounter that issue. I would recommend talking with some other members on the community to see how they went about the currency conversion.

Oh, you bought it from the site? Must be Appleā€™s currency exchange markupā€¦ oh well, Iā€™m not bothered really, as long as it supports the dev team!

Sadly the usual Apple rip off. $50 = Ā£39.20 not Ā£48.00

Yep, sadly Apple have a weird way of doing currency exchangesā€¦ before taking away a massive commissionā€¦ Apologies for that.

The advantages of the site are the more ā€œrealisticā€ exchange rate and virtually no commissions :)
