FLYING AROUND THE CARIBBEAN PART 2
The next leg of my Caribbean adventures this week involved taking a trip from San Juan in Puerto Rico to the famous Sint Maarten Princess Juliana.
It was only a 45 minute hop and for this little trip I went with the TBM for added luxury for my one lucky passenger. It’s an absolute pleasure flying around this area and the delights that Sint Maarten has to offer.
There were some sightseers waiting on the beach, clasping onto the perimeter fence waiting to be flung into the sea by the resulting winds, but the TBM didn’t quite have the power of the KLM 747 and so they made it back without any sandpapering or injury!
Departure: TJSJ (Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport, San Juan, Puerto Rico).
Arrival: TNCM (Princess Juliana International Airport, Sint Maarten).
Flight time : 45 minutes.
