Hello IFC!
Some of yall may be wondering what a Prop RPM Controller is well it is very useful I that is why I am making a thread for it!
So what is it:
The prop control adjusts the pitch of the prop blades and thus the load on the engine, so the RPM stays the same (hence: "constant speed ") but it will fall off speed if there isn’t enough power.

If this would be added it would only apply to the planes that have this Not Fixed Prop Aircraft like the C172.
How would this work.
It would work just like mixture (A slider in the engines page) but on the turboprop and other aircraft that this applies too.
This is how it works:

Hope you consider dropping a vote as flying turboprops and other aircraft with this would increase the realism and fun!
Thanks,
Blake
Perfect request
I will clear a vote after the A330s liveries are out
A lever close to the power lever would be needed pour twin engine planes such as the Baron 58 or the cessna 310R

I really love this idea, I would really want to see this on the Q-400 because it Is one of my favourite aircraft to fly! I’ll clear up a vote.

An excellent suggestion, however I’ll hold off on voting until live cockpits are added to the aircraft where governor levers are present. I would personally love to see a live RPM and manifold pressure readout while I adjust the prop.
But this is definitely a must in the sim, like we have the added mixture control on the Cessna - just at a slightly later time, when we can also monitor RPM and M.P. You will certainly have my vote on this feature when that time comes. Bookmarking it so I won’t forget!

Understandable! Thanks for considering it.

This would be perfect for the Dash 8. Then we can do the I-850 climb.

Bumpin’ there, I would though they would bring it to the C208 Caravan but it seems not for now
That version certainly has an automatic RPM funtion
