“Prop” and “Feather”

Hello folks!
I was wondering if anyone knew what “Prop” or “Feather” means. I’m currently flying the DHC Twin Otter on a PC sim, and was wondering why these two levers do. They are right next to the throttle and fuel levers.

Thanks in advance!

I looked it up. Feather means to change the angle of the prop to reduce drag if it fails primarily, but there may be other uses. The prop simply means that that applies to the props…

It’s a variable pitch propeller. Prop is used to control the engine RPM while feather is as said above used if the engine fails to reduce parasite drag from the propeller
