Today is the day! I flew in yesterday from Singapore, returned to the airport at 3AM, and was greeted at the check-in counter with a lively throng of passengers celebrating the inaugural departure with complimentary coffee.
To celebrate the inaugural Project Sunrise revenue flight, the Qantas International Business Lounge was open to all passengers aboard the first flight. (I was booked into economy coz 
)
I had a delicious buffet breakfast of eggs, stewed chicken, stir-fried vegetables and rice. Pretty much every other aviation content creator was there- Noel Philips, Jeb Brooks and Susanne, Nonstop Dan, IF Dan, Gabriel Leigh, Sam Chui, and Josh Cahill (who, of course, were avoiding each other at all costs.)
Boarding the first commerical Project Sunrise flight! We were welcomed at the gate with refreshments and champagne for everyone, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Over the Blue Mountains, the seatbelt sign was turned off. I headed to the lav, but guess what, there were 3 other vloggers lined up outside to film their own loo reviews 
Lunch over the Outback was a chicken soup. Around this time, my legs were beginning to ache, so I headed to the Wellbeing Zone to stretch and grab a nut bar, and chat with some other avgeeks and travel content creators.
Over Romania after our second sunrise of the flight. I was able do get some work done, and visited the Wellbeing Zone a few more times to stretch
Over Bulgaria we were served dinner in London Time, consisting of beef stew, roasted potatoes, and daal, with some fruit and chamomile tea.
RAHHH London here we come!!!
EGLL was packed that day, but props to the IFATC for getting us on the ground quickly! The LNAV was broken so I had to use manual heading to turn.
