The Future of MEM + What You Need To Know
The Plan: To embark on the following biggest task of my editing career: edit one of the largest cargo hubs in the world. It’s simple: edit the airport and make all cargo enjoyers bask in the glory that is FedEx Intl. Airport (basically), whilst remaining as realistic as humanly possible in regards to facades and building structure. While this seems easy to say, it is no easy feat to take on such a massive airport, remain uberly realistic, and simultaneously work at a fast pace. The airport will come in due time my friends (or maybe just FDXVA if no one else likes cargo lol).
Disclaimers: In the pictures, you will see that there is a lack of objects in some pictures. This is due to performance reasons as we work through the airports. Especially with big airports, it’s important that you do all of your building detailing prior to objects so you don’t overload the airport with objects and then lack in building detail. After I’ve finished with all of my building work, I will make my way over to adding the proper amount of objects to the airport. Second, some pictures may include jetbridges submerged into the ground; this is a replay glitch and they will not appear this way once the airport eventually makes it to your device.
Resources: Attention any members that are familiar with, have pictures of, or live close to the airport: please DM/contact me with anything you have! I am more than willing to take up-to-date materials that will help me build the airport with higher quality such as pictures or provable information on new developments regarding the airport.
Progress Reports: I intend to upload on this thread periodically (obviously or I wouldn’t have posted this thread) when I have made proper amounts of progress that would warrant a post. It is unlikely that I will take requests for pictures of specific parts of the airport.
