Welcome to project Kenya, this is the place you can find all the information about airports edited by the IFAET (Infinite Flight Airport Editing Team) in Kenya.

There aren’t many airports in this East-African country, several of them are actually tiny airstrips made of dirt or grass, perfect for Cessna Caravans and Q100-Dash 8. Even though most airports aren’t large, it is our goal to make Kenya look amazing in the Infinite Flight Simulator.

To put things into perspective, 10 airports out of 22 are currently 3D which is more than 45% of all Kenyan airports. Sadly most of these airports are never used due to the lack of livery (and also because they are really tiny). But trust me, all of them are worth flying to.

Located on the coast, Mombasa International Airport is Kenya’s second busiest airport, with more than 1 million passengers each year.

It’s nearing completion at the moment. The passenger terminal is fully completed. I’m currently in the process of finding resources for the military and southern area of the airport.

Jomo Kenyatta rework (HKJK/NBO)

As work continues and is nearing completion in Nairobi Wilson, Jomo Kenyatta Int’l is getting a facelift. The airport didn’t meet the current IFAET standards and is in process of getting a brand new terminal.
